Welcome to YogaPose.org
I hope you will join me on an evolving journey of yoga practice. My first contribution is a Sun Salutation animation showing the basic flow of Surya Namaskar, the ancient greeting of the Sun.
I'm currently working to adjust the timing and pace of the Sun Salutation animation so you can follow along with ease. With upcoming versions, I'll be showing how the breath can flow from pose to pose to help you get the all great benefits from "Greeting the Sun."
Some say it can take many years to master the series of poses knows as "The Salutation to the Sun." It seems like, the more I investigate and practice a pose, the more there is to know. My goal is to use technology to shorten and improve the yoga learning process by showing the Sun salutation from various angles, detailing each and every movement. Next I'll be adding music to the poses you can start to see where this is all headed. – A yoga pose, music DVD, to help guide you into the yoga experience, or as some would say.. the experience of understanding your true Self.
